DESCRIPTION:The West Central Missouri Vintage Auto Club will have their Classic Car Show on Saturday\, June 2nd.  The show is from 9 am to 3 pm and will be held on the Courthouse Square in Downtown Sedalia.  Entry fee is $10\, there will be concessions on site to include hot dogs\, brats\, hamburgers\, chips and sodas.   Registration is from 9 am to 12 noon\, Judging begins at noon\, and awards will be given at 3 pm.  For more information\, call 826-6964 days and 826-2033 nights.

DESCRIPTION:This is a great oportunity to do your first trialthlon or continue to build your confidence for a competitive one. Each athlete will swim 200 yards\, bike 5 miles\, and run 2 miles. SUMMARY:Superkid Triathalon
DESCRIPTION:Our kids triathlon is all about building strong bodies and healthy kids. This means getting them off the couch and away from the TV and video games to enjoy some healthy physical activity outside. It doesn't matter if your child is already an athlete or is just starting to engage in sports and outdoor activity\, this is a great event for the whole family and gives your children the opportunity to be active and healthy. With a swim\, bike\, and run course\, real transition area\, body markings and awards for all participants\, you can help your child gain the self esteem that comes from doing their personal best.    Saturday\, June 30\, 2012  For kids 4 - 14  $20 per child  REGISTER BY JUNE 22    The Superkid Triathlon will take place Saturday\, June 30 starting at 9:00 a.m. a.m. Check in is at 8:30 a.m. Kids will swim in Centennial Pool\, and bike & run on the Centennial Park Trail. Each child must wear a helmet on the bike course. All kids who participate will receive a finisher's medal and t-shirt. This event is open to children 4 to 14\, course will be set in age categories. Registration must be made by Friday\, June 22 at the Parks Office. Fees are $20.00 per child.

SUMMARY:Generations of Stars 
DESCRIPTION:The Generations of Stars:  The Bothwell Benefit will be presented on Saturday\, November 3.     This is a fundraiser for health programs in the community.  It'll take place from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m\, at the Missouri Electric Cooperative Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.  There will be entertainment from a quintet with the Sedalia Symphony\, a cocktail reception\, and dinner catered by the Ivory Grille with a program to follow.  Tickets are $175 per person\, available by calling 826-6263 or emailing foundation@brhc.org.  Limited seating is available\, as the event typically sells out.

They'll have home baked goodies galore\, hand crafted gifts and decor and a silent auction.   They'll have a delicious chili and dessert bar from 11 to 2.  Free child care is available in the nursery from 9 to 1.  All proceeds benefit the First Church Care Ministry.

DESCRIPTION:The Third Annual Caregiver of the Year Award will be presented in honor of an unsung hero who has dedicated themselves to making the lives of others more comfortable and dignified.  Caregivers devote much of their lives to ensure that their loved ones and friends are well cared for\, and whenever possible\, sees in assisting care is given at home. Qualifications for nominees:  Caring and loving person who has helped an individual during their battle with cancer or someone who has made a difference in a family’s life of a cancer patient.         To nominate an individual for this award\, you must send a letter explaining how this person has helped a cancer patient.  Please be as descriptive as possible.  Also\, please tell me why you think that person deserves this award. SUMMARY:Tri Lakes Fishing Club Tournament
