LCAA Auditions “Christmas Story: The Musical”

Auditions for A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will be on Sept. 22  and Sept. 23.

From  6-7p.m. they'll be doing the casting call for the role of “Ralphie”.

Requirements:

•     Male between the ages of 9-12 approximately

•     Able to sing solo songs and sing with the ensemble

•     Must be expressive, focused, able to memorize lines, lyrics and music, willing to learn and ready to have a great time

•     Available for all rehearsals (Mon., Tues., Thurs. early evenings from Sept. 29-Nov. 28) and performances (Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 4-6)

Then, from  7-9p.m., they'll be casting call for all adult roles and adult ensemble

Requirements:

•     Anyone 15 and older may audition

•     All roles require singing and  memorization

•     Available for all rehearsals (Mon., Tues., Thurs. early evenings from Sept. 29-Nov. 28) and performances (Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 4-6)

Auditions will include learning and singing part of a song from the musical,  a simple stage movement-choreography routine, and scene work-line readings from the script. You DO NOT need to bring a prepared piece of music. No previous experience required. Backstage and behind-the-scenes positions are also available.

Casting will be completed by Thurs. Sept. 25 and cast list will be posted on FB, LCAA website and on paper at the Liberty Center. Rehearsals begin  Mon. Sept. 29.
