LaMonte Whole Hog Supper/Auction

The Friends of the La Monte FFA invite you to eat whole hog for their big fundraiser.The event will be held on Thursday, October 17 from 4:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m. at the La Monte R-IV Ag Building, on the north end of campus.  They'll have whole hog, potato casserole, baked beans, coleslaw, bread, dessert and a drink while you watch the soccer/volleyball games.  Advanced tickets for adults are $7, for kids aged 6-12 the cost is $6.  At the door prices go up a dollar, meals are free for ages 6 and under.  Take out is available.  There will be the FFA Student Labor exchange silent auction.  Select a FFA student helper to paint, clean, cut brush, babysit, cook, laobr on the farm, etc.  There will also be a silent auction for a choice of customized truck; choose from five trucks with three hours of labor/materials provided by Jim Cave.  For more information, or ticket sources, call Bill at 660-620-3831.
