Eagles will be present all day for close up viewing, with the event kicking off with a presentation by Dr. Drew Kaiser of the Raptor Rehabilitation Center, followed by the Blessing of the Eagles Ceremony by Standing Bear Council at 11am. Along with this will be a Grand Entry Ceremony into the circle, at which time Veterans will be honored. Attendees will then be entertained by the Black Fox Singers & Native American dancers, with prizes for the dancers. There will also be information on the Native American Mounds and Chief Keokuk history, as well as Native American vendors and food booths. The Chief Keokuk history will be presented by Tanya Jones, the Chief’s great, great, great granddaughter. The Indian Mounds presentation will be by Steve Tieken.
