The Foster Grandparent Program, a community service organization that serves West Central Missouri, is seeking volunteers to serve children in Head Start Centers and schools in the Sedalia area.
Qualified volunteers will be 55 years of age or older, be in reasonably good health, have a means of transportation, be able to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours per week, and be committed to community service by helping children improve their academic and social development as a trusted tutor and mentor. Eligible volunteers may also receive a modest stipend to help offset any personal cost of volunteering.
