Earth Day Celebration

The 2nd Annual Earth Day Celebration will take place April 20, 21, and 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will be free trees for kids and a petting zoo, with crafts and games.  You'll get recycling information and ideas on how to reuse, reduce and recycle - with plenty of chances to buy eco friendly products.  There will be live music, spin gypsies, food and drinks with a fiber spinner, master gardener booth, garden and landscape vendors and composting information.  You can also learn about herbs and honeybees.  It'll be held on the Bright Hope Farm at 16330 Farmers City Road in Hughesville.  For more information, call 660-596-3818.  Cost of admission is $3 per person.
