In honor of National Arbor Day, Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site is inviting the public to an event dedicated to Missouri’s native trees. The event will begin with a short presentation followed by the distribution of a limited supply of tree seedlings. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the April 26 event will begin at 7 p.m.
Park visitors are invited to stay for a showing of the 2012 feature film “The Lorax,” a Dr. Seuss story which features the Lorax and his mission to save the trees of his world. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own snacks and seating, and are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.
