A Matter of Balance Classes

The University of Missouri Extension will be offering a Matter of Balance classes during November and December. 

A Matter of Balance  is a fall prevention and education program for anyone with concerns about balance.  Participants will discuss ways to make their environments safer, avoid hazards, communicate concerns more effectively, and participate in simple exercises and stretches to improve balance. This course is an eight session series that will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. starting on Nov 6 (skipping the week of Thanksgiving).  Registration is required by Nov 2.  The cost is $25 a person and that includes the cost of a workbook.  For more information, or to register, contact the Missouri Extension office in Pettis County at 827-0591.
