The Liberty Center Association for the Arts production of “Chicago” opens on Thursday, November 1 and continues through Sunday November 4 with the final weekend running Thursday, November 8 through Sunday November 11.  Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. except on Sundays with a matinee at 2 p.m.   Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the Liberty Center at 111 West Fifth in Downtown Sedalia or via telephone at (660) 826-2899. The lively musical is set in prohibition Chicago and tells the story of the starlet Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly who end up imprisoned with hopes of making it big with the help of their slick lawyer, Billy Flynn.  Join us at the Liberty Center.  The Lona Lounge will open an hour before show time and will feature a variety of beer, wines, and other soft drinks, popcorn and candy.  Our “Chicago” special will be a “Cellblock Survival Kit” which will include bread and water.
