Eric Church has earned another chart-topping hit with his latest single, 'Talladega.' This marks the second No. 1 single from his fourth studio album, 'The Outsiders.'

At first, 'Talladega' may seem like just another song about hard drinking and fast cars -- after all, it is about a famous racetrack known for both. But the heart of the song, about old friends and big adventures, is more nostalgic and poignant.

"NASCAR was as hot as any sport back in the ’90s, and it was a thing where a group of your buddies go take stuff, tents, camp out, stay a few days, walk back and forth to the track,” says Church. "We actually lost the damn car, you know; you’re so far away. I can’t tell you who won the race, but I could tell you all the experiences we had in a two or three-day period."

Church also scored the top spot on the charts with the first single off his latest album, 'Give Me Back My Hometown.' And if stellar singles aren't enough, 'The Outsiders' is also nominated for four Grammys, including on for Best Country Album. Church is expected to be performing on the show as well. The 2015 Grammys air live on Feb. 8 at 8PM ET on CBS.

Fans who want to see the 'Springsteen' hitmaker live can him Outsiders World Tour this spring, with awesome opening acts including Brothers Osborne, Drive-By-Truckers, JD McPherson and the Cadillac Three.
