IT/STUDIO TECHNICIAN – Amarillo, TX
EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS: We are looking for an IT/Studio Technician who has basic understanding of electronics and audio systems. Intermediate level understanding of IT System administration and maintenance (Windows XP/Windows 7/Windows Server 2003/2007). Candidates must be able to work comfortably in confined spaces and be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
JOB SUMMARY: A Townsquare Media IT/Studio Technician is the primary contact to staff personnel by assisting with various technical issues by performing the following duties:
- Maintain office PC’s, printers, and network. Assist office computer users with setting up software and hardware on their workstations.
- Monitor and maintain NexGen automation system. Insure that system is operating properly and reliably.
- Perform general studio maintenance, including: Check and set audio levels, diagnose and repair (if possible) equipment failures at a system level, verify equipment operation in the TOC, monitor stations and troubleshoot issues proactively when possible.
- Assist the regional engineers with transmitter and major studio repairs.
