Eleven Smith-Cotton High School students earned honors Saturday, Nov. 4, in the West Central Missouri Music Educators Association All-District Band Auditions at Warrensburg High School.

Students in the jazz band and honor band will audition for All-State Band and Jazz Band on Dec. 2 in Columbia. The Honor Band and Honorable Mention Band will perform Jan. 6 in Warrensburg, while the Jazz Band will perform Jan. 13 at Smith-Cotton Junior High.

"A big congratulations to these outstanding student musicians for the hard work they've done and are about to do," said S-C Director of Instrumental Music Grant Maledy.
