I have been a big fan of The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice on NBC over the last few years. This season, Donald Trump decided to give celebrities a second chance on the show. I have to admit, I was very excited to see Gary Busey back since his Buseyisms always made me laugh on his previous season. I was also pleased to see Brett Michaels come back after winning it a few seasons ago, Trace Adkins finished second, and then there are the bad boys Dennis Rodman, Stephen Baldwin and Omarosa. I have to say all these parings got me excited in addition to the ladies on the show.

Yesterday (March 3), was the first episode and it seemed that The Donald, Piers Morgan and Ivanka Trump all had it in for Brett Michaels for coming back. What I didn’t get is each of the contestants are just trying to further their promotion for the various non-profits they support, so I didn’t see what the big deal was about a previous winner coming back. It would be a great idea to see all the winners and runner-ups back on the show battling it out and hopefully ending the show. I think this show has gone past the time it should have been on the air, but the characters bring me back. Sooner or later, something has to give.

The first episode of this season might have been the giving in point, as it seemed they were out to get Brett Michaels and they certainly did. Without going into the long details, he was the first to go and he didn’t do much wrong, other then being a previous winner and not being the project manager.

I’ll be curious to see how long Omarosa lasts.  With this being her 3rd time on the show, it would be a good swan song. I know this much, the Donald needs to shake some things up to garner more ratings. Maybe that was his intent, keep the bad boys around as they go, so go the ratings. The first episode did not start off with a bang ratings-wise. According to overnight ratings, it had the lowest-rated premier ever for the a celebrity edition of The Apprentice.  5.1 million viewers nationwide tuned in and only had a 1.6 rating for adults ages 18-49. That does not bode well for Celebrity Apprentice.

That being said, I'll keep watching, but who do you think will win this season for those that do watch it?
