You see different posts on social media sites of entertainers, music artists and everyday people posting their recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Do you think this is something that should be done every morning in public and/or private schools?

Every morning I play the Pledge of Allegiance on the radio. When I was a child in grade school, we stood every morning, with our hands over our hearts and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. There was a United States Flag in every classroom.

Since I'm not in the classrooms anymore, I'm pretty much out-of-tune with how a class is conducted these days. Is the pledge still something that is still done or, unfortunately, is it a thing of the past?

Being a veteran and coming from a family that had so many serve in the military, for me, it's more of a respect and tribute to those that have and are currently serving in the armed forces.

What's your feeling?
