As fall approaches, Dierks Bentley begins readying his annual Miles and Music for Kids charity motorcycle ride and concert event. This year’s event is set for Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Nashville, and Bentley will be accompanied by some of his famous pals, including Brantley Gilbert, Chris Young, Sheryl Crow, the Cadillac Black and Craig Campbell.

Like in years past, the event will begin at Harley-Davidson of Columbia in Columbia, Tenn., where participants will go for a scenic hour-long motorcycle ride ending at downtown Nashville’s Riverfront Park. Following the ride, Bentley and his guests will take to the stage for a family-friendly jam-style concert on the ACM Lifting Lives main stage.

“I really want to blow Miles and Music out this year, and make it bigger than ever,” says Bentley. “We’ve had the chance to help a lot of communities across the country, but the heart and soul of this event is in downtown Nashville with Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and the artists and friends who come out and help us raise money. It’s my favorite thing we do all year.”

Additional guests and special announcements will be made in the weeks leading up to the event. Fans can purchase tickets for the ride, concert and commemorative T-shirt for $50, or tickets just to the concert portion of the event for $20. Special VIP packages will also available for those fans wanting a little something extra. All proceeds from the event will benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Tickets the the Nashville-based Miles and Music for Kids event will go on sale this Friday (Aug. 17) starting at 10AM CT through Ticketmaster.
