Kids, I know sometimes it can be a little strange trying to figure out just what there is to do around here.  I sometimes see people on Facebook or other social media asking, "What are you guys doing tonight?" Well, I think sometimes people forget about all the good community get-togethers around here just because they're not looking for them.

So, I thought I'd share something I got in our Community Calendar submissions this week.  The Shriners are having another great dinner this week.  You know you always see the Shriners in parades and stuff?  They're always helping out around town.  So why not stop by and help them help others while you eat some tasty food?

The Shrine Club is having their annual dinner in memorial of Dave Kelley. They're going to have all sorts of goodies.  They've got a huge dinner planned with brisket, fried chicken, cheesy potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, a drink and dessert.  They're also going to have an auction, so that'll add some excitement, too.

Stop by 1615 Elm Hills Blvd. on Mar. 14.  The social hour starts at 5:00 p.m. and the dinner begins at 6:00 for a cost of $10.  Bring the kids and the whole family, and have a good, wholesome evening.

Eventily yours,

Behka
