Mayor John Kehde and the Sedalia City Council, along with City Administrator Kelvin Shaw, Community Development Director John Simmons, Commander (and soon-to-be) Police Chief Matt Wirt and other City officials, were treated to a guided tour of the new Sedalia Police headquarters on Tuesday afternoon.

The tour was given after Council held a brief special session at noon Tuesday.

The media was allowed to tag along, and here are some of the photos we took.

The building is located in the 200 block of South Kentucky, across the street from the Municipal Building.

Work began on the project in late September, and a Septagon official said Tuesday he expects completion of the project around Nov. 10.
