Several local bands in the Sedalia area have YouTube channels that are worth checking out. Most all have active Facebook band pages. Here are some links to just a few of them:

Crosstown
Crosstown plays red dirt, country and classic rock. Members include Bobby Houston on lead vocals, Russell Hayworth on lead guitar and vocals, Tim Franklin on guitar and vocals, Doug Briscoe on drums and Steve Hayworth on bass and vocals. They have played area venues such as Dickie Doo, E Street, Aces in Tipton, the Warsaw Roadhouse and Mustang Sallyz in Marshall.

Full Moon Band
Full Moon Band specializes in classic rock and have been around for a very long time. Led by percussionist Paul Wilbern and joined by John Stevenson on guitar, the band's vocalists are Valerie “Bebop” Miller and Eric England, who also plays bass. They are always heavily booked, playing almost every weekend at venues in Sedalia, La Monte, Windsor, Lee's Summit, Independence, Warrensburg, Grain Valley and Warsaw, to name a few. They've also played the Missouri State Fair Bud Tent as well as the annual Fourth of July celebration at the Fairgrounds.

Ponch and the Pork 'n Beans
Ponch and the Pork 'n Beans is an excellent country band headed by Ponch Burkhart of Versailles. He sings and plays guitar. His lead guitarist is Jay Scanlon who also sings. Bassist Clint Quigley is also a backup vocalist who sings lead on a few tunes. Greg Burkhart keeps the beat going for the band. The Pork 'n Beans play Sedalia, Tipton, La Monte, Warsaw, Leeton, Urich, Archie and were featured with five shows at Good Time Charlies at the Missouri State Fair last year.

Oxline Road
Oxline Road is comprised of four talented men who love to play classic, old-time rock and roll, and it shows. Bassist Steve Graves, guitarist Steve Cox and drummer Gavin Fenwick provide the vocals and Roy Davis provides the hot licks on lead guitar for their ardent fans. This is a tight band of professional musicians who love the music and you should definitely go check them out soon.

Last Call
Last Call is a fairly new band that plays country and blues in a very easy-to-listen-to style. Rhythm guitarist Dave Stubblefield is the lead singer, but all members sing during their live show. Joe Palen is the band's talented lead guitarist, Tim Fink is steady behind the drum kit, and Jim Luetjen keeps the bass line moving. Catch them at an upcoming show in Warsaw, Lincoln or Sedalia, they're a great group of musicians and you'll be glad you caught their act.

Sweetshot
Sweetshot plays just about anything, and they do it extremely well. Chuck Lancaster is the lead guitarist and backup vocalist, Jeff Kline is impressive on the drums, Aaron Vandergriff plays rhythm guitar and handles backing vocals, Billy Sleeper plays bass and sings (Check out Live Wire) and Tara Sleeper is the lead vocalist and also plays keyboard. Go see a Sweetshot show next time you get a chance. They've played E Street, Warsaw Roadhouse, Dickie Doo BBQ, Coaches, Nellie's, Go-Fast Betty's, A&J's, Angie's and Aces, among other venues.

Dirt Road Addiction
Dirt Road Addiction is a band that has exploded in popularity in the past year or so. Their venues include Dickie Doo, Whiskey Wild, Mustang Sallyz, Bar 9 Billiards, Warsaw Roadhouse, Bear Bottom Resort, End Zone, the Missouri State Fair Bud Tent, Kauffman Stadium and others. Their genre is classified as Country, Country-Rock and Classic Rock. PB Wilson is lead vocalist, Kevin Ditzfeld is on rhythm guitar and vocals, Clay Clear is on lead guitar and vocals, Mike Adams is on rhythm guitar, Tommy Hulse plays bass and Sam Schleicher is the band's percussionist. A fun time is always had by all who attend a DRA show.

The Sizzlers
The Sizzlers are well known in the mid-Missouri area for their quality sound and variety of songs. Rocky Vincent, John Roberts and Brooks Baker front the band that has a new drummer and keyboardist/ harpist/guitarist-vocalist. Check them out in Sedalia or Jeff City next time you get a chance.

Unseen Hatred
Unseen Hatred is a Sedalia band headed by vocalist/guitarist and music teacher Justin Lawson. Jayson Williams plays guitar and is a backup vocalist, and Matt Scott is the drummer. If you've never experienced Unseen Hatred, you can catch them June 10 when they will be part of the lineup at “Counterfeit Throwdown” at Dickie Doo BBQ. In addition to metal band Unseen Hatred, Sons of the Fallen of Sedalia, and Raised From Perdition of Marshall will lead off the show, which will then feature special guest “Counterfeit,” a metal band from Kansas City. National touring bands Along Came a Spider and Roots Like Mountains are the headliners for the event, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Sons of the Fallen
Sons of the Fallen is a four-piece metal band from Sedalia with Evan Handley on vocals, Brett Hall on vocals and guitar, Timothy Branch on bass and Chris MacDonald on drums. They recently performed at Coaches and will be part of the multi-band lineup June 10 at Dickie Doo BBQ for Counterfeit Throwdown.

NDA
If you like rock and hard rock, you have to check out NDA, which played the Doo Friday night, May 6 to an appreciative crowd. Although the band is based out of Troy, Missouri, one local member of the band (Jeff Huntley of La Monte) is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. The band's FB page says they play originals, classics & current material. In addition to Huntley, Roy Tobias plays lead guitar and sings, Gary Brewer sings and play guitar and keyboard, Don (Doc) Von Dach is the percussionist and Mike Gullickson (the quiet one) is the bassist. The band was formed on April Fool's Day, 2015 and continues to build a strong following with every live show.

Changed By Grace
Changed By Grace is a music ministry with the mission of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the band's Facebook page. Their home church is Lifepointe in Sedalia. Members include Mike Munsterman, Jay McMillin, Larry Cooper and Scott Gutierrez. The band just released its self-titled CD and a video featuring one of the cuts “Surrender You to Me.”
