We have hot weather expected through the day (June 22), but there could be a chance at some severe weather late this evening or early Tuesday (June 23), according to the National Weather Service and Sedalia/Pettis County EMA Director, David Clippert.

"Pettis is back in the marginal risk again today for severe weather," said Sedalia/Pettis County EMA Director David Clippert. "Like yesterday it is expected that any severe weather though will remain north of I-70. We have a 0% Tornado Risk, 5% chance of high winds (58 MPH or higher), and a 5% chance of large hail (1 inch or larger)."
We'll continue to keep track of our weather with Weathereye on Newstalk 1050 KSIS, 92.3 Bob-FM and Better Country KIX 105.
