October 18, 2012 It's hard to believe I will be starting my 27th year of being associated with State Fair Basketball, most of those years as the play-by-play guy, a few years as the PA announcer but always a fan. I have seen some great players come through those blue doors and have a ton of great memories. I am looking forward to a great season for both teams and it all gets started November 2 and 3 with the McDonald's Classic.

October 12, 2012 As the season winds down, the games become more important for the conference and district standings. This game will be the most evenly matched game on paper that we have covered this year. Both teams come in at 4-3 overall, both have lost to the same conference opponents, and both average around 30 points per game.

You don't have to know much about golf to know that this is just ridiculous. Michael Phelps managed to sink a 153-foot putt at the Dunhill Links Championship. According to the announcer, Phelps is just learning to golf and is "26 handicapped," which we're pretty sure is Golf for "definitely shouldn't make this putt
When Tammy Faile and her two children were chosen as the military family of the game for South Carolina's match up Saturday against the University of Georgia, they probably expected some sort of message from their husband and father Sgt. First Class Scott Faile, who is stationed in South Korea.
