The weather is looking up and it seems like the weather roller coaster is over. I hope they shut it down. Well, let's start with some fishin'. Where are they catching them? In the water. No really, they are.
Kids, as we all know, I am a sucker for animals. Just last week, the boyfriend and I nearly walked away with a dog after an adoption event. But rest assured, we walked away without the dog, and only because it's not feasible NOW to get one. We will have a dog when we're not living in a one bedroom apartment.
The following story comes from Denny Perkins over at our sister station, 92.3 BOB-FM. I have been sitting on this for a while now, just waiting for the right time to talk about it. Registration for the Go Big of Go Home 5K race in remembrance of Blaine Whitworth begins at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at 115 N. Holden St. in Warrensburg.

It won't be long before we are watching the radar for severe thunderstorms.
Pettis County voters went to the polls and had higher than expected turnout. Pettis County Clerk Nick LaStrada said he was expecting 6-8% turnout, and 10.34% went to the polls.
KC Copters, a Johnny Rowlands company based in Olathe, Kan., will provide private helicopter flight training at the University of Central Missouri’s Max B. Swisher Skyhaven Airport.
Kids, as we all know, parenting can be hard. And if you're new to it, there are so many more safety features and gadgets and whathasits than we had when I was a kid.
