Welcome to the new year, y'all! We survived the Mayan Apocalypse, went to our office holiday parties without going totally nuts and witnessed Kathy Griffin trying to get in Anderson Cooper's pants. We're still trying to get that image out of our brains. Regardless, we made it to January, and that's pretty impressive.

The hourly countdown to 2013 has officially begun, which means New Year's Eve preparations are in full swing. We're practicing our photobombing techniques, cranking up the tunes and bejeweling jean shorts, among other things. December 31st is the party of all parties, after all!

December 18, 2012 The end of the year brings the mad dash for my fellow employees to try and take some time off for the holidays, so I am off for three days this week. Nothing like taking time off to do last minute shopping for the holidays! However, I also volunteered to help out the Skyline Elementary 3rd Grade for a day putting together gingerbread houses.
Attention everyone: we now officially have T-minus eight days until Christmas, and preparation time is running out faster than we can shove holiday cookies in our mouths. We still have to buy last-minute presents, dig out those stockings from the back of our closets and make time for that awful office party.
December 18, 2012 Christmas is getting closer and closer, and the good boys and girls are writing up their final Christmas letters and wish lists to Santa Claus. I am pleased to tell you that a lot of the letters that were sent early have made it to the North Pole, and Santa knows more are on its way. I'm also pleased to let you know that each year Newstalk 1050 KSIS, has had a chance to get updates from Steve The Elf on some of the letters have made it to Santa.
December 17, 2012 We were excited to bring the LoCash Cowboys to Sedalia for a special acoustic concert. Chris and Preston put on a fantastic show. They entertained us with songs we've heard them sing on the radio as well as hits they've written that were recorded by others. They also told the story behind the music and some stories of past experiences in Sedalia.
