We go to supper (you may call it dinner...we don't because growing up as a kid in Missouri, dinner was Sunday after church at Grandpa and Grandmas) with some friends on a weekly basis. A time is usually set for 4:45 pm but sometimes it gets pushed up to 4:30 just because we're sitting around waiting, and of course, we're hungry. So, eating at that time of the day...does that mean I'm getting old?
Why is it we can never remember what day it is that Mother's Day falls? I just read something that I guess I either forget or was never aware of. Mother's Day falls on the second Sunday in May. Now, you have it. No excuses!
For some us the memories are still vivid. Making some extra spending money so we could buy what we wanted. We earned it and we spent it on the stuff that was so important to us as kids.
