Just hours after the news broke that country superstar Jason Aldean and his wife Jessica Ussery have decided to divorce after 12 years of marriage, the singer has issued a statement.
The Sedalia City Council met in the council chambers of City Hall for a work session Monday night (April 29). There were three items on the agenda, but the one that drew the capacity crowd to the chamber was the proposal that would make Sedalia a smoke-free city.
A Pettis County man will spend life in prison for molesting six young men between 2008 and 2012. David Donahue, 42, Sedalia, was charged last July with statutory sodomy in the first and second degree, child molestation and attempt to commit statutory sodomy. He entered guilty pleas to six charges in January. The court ordered a sentence assessment report and scheduled a sentencing hearing for today.
4 weeks ago The Sedalia City Council is looking at drafting an ordinance that would ban smoking in public places. There are already numerous cities that have drafted similar ordinances that ban smoking in public places, including restaurants and bars across our country and in Missouri. Sedalia already has banned smoking at State Fair Community College and Bothwell Regional Health Center and its affiliates, city owned property also has restrictions that have been put in place. Many businesses have made the decision on their own to prohibit smoking inside the restaurant or business.

Richard is the bass vocalist for The Oak Ridge Boys, who are celebrating their 40th year of recording and touring and will appear at this year's Missouri State Fair. He's the infamous "Omm Pa Pa Mau Mau" in the hit "Elvira."

April 23, 2013 I live not far from the main thoroughfare in Sedalia known as 65 highway or Limit street. It's one of the major streets in town, most people know it. And for some reason, often on the weekend, I will hear loud sounds coming from this general vicinity It sounds like a car speeding along the street. It sounds like tires squealing. It sounds like loud music in car stereos. Maybe you guys can explain it to me.
