February 5, 2013 UPDATE: Morgan County prosecutors have charged three people with the murder of Carol and Freddy Wilson. Garland Mitchell, 46, and Mandy Mitchell, 28, both of Jefferson City and Derrell Spellmeyer, 44, of Eldon have each been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action. They are all being held on $1 million bond.
February 4, 2013 If you are a SFCC fan, you know that Coach Kevin Thomas and his wife Taylor have been expecting twins. Taylor was due in the middle of March, but the babies had different ideas and were born this Monday morning (Feb 4.) in Columbia, where Taylor had been on bed rest for awhile.

February 4, 2013 We had a great time at the 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show held at the Missouri State Fairgrounds last weekend (Feb. 2-3). Attendees enjoyed the Pop Up 3D Archery Shoot, participated in our "Shake It for Luke Bryan" contest, hung out with actor Marshall Teague and and shopped around at the vendor booths throughout the Mathewson Center. The event also collected 272 pounds of canned goods for the Open Door Food Pantry. Enjoy these photos of all the fun at the Cabin Fever Sports Show!
February 1, 2013 The Cabin Fever Sports Show will host over 65 different booths from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 2 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb.3 at the Mathew Exhibition Center on the State Fairgrounds. The show will have booths, contest, door prizes, and raffle prizes to entertain the whole family.

The Kaysinger Conference Basketball Tournament is ready to tip off this weekend at State Fair Community College at the Fred E. Davis Center. Teams from Cole Camp, Green Ridge, Lamonte, Lincoln, Northwest (Hughesville), Sacred Heart (Sedalia), Smithton, Stover, Tipton and Windsor will battle it out for the Kaysinger Conference Championship for both the boys and girls brackets starting this Saturday.

The 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show will kick off (no Super Bowl pun intended) on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. and run through 8 p.m. We'll be back out there until 3 p.m. on Sunday so you can get back home in time for the Super Bowl (where the Ravens will win by 7).
