Gov. Nixon Announces Major Infrastructure Improvements at the Missouri State Fairgrounds

JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Jay Nixon joined Missouri State Senator Mike Parson and other state and local officials in Sedalia today (Oct. 1) to announce $2.2 million in infrastructure improvements at the more than 100-year-old Missouri State Fairgrounds. The improvements include upgrades to the storm water management system at the fairgrounds.

Missouri State Fair Highlights: Sunday, August 18, 2013

Today (Aug. 18), is Law Enforcement/Firefighter Appreciation Day. There is free gate admission for Municipal, County and State Law Enforcement and Missouri Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics with appropriate I.D. and $1 gate admission for immediate family members. All Missouri State Fair goers will get in for the Fair Finale for half price. You can also get $15 in unlimited carnival rides.
