Josh Thompson and Justin Moore took the stage at the Pepsi Grandstands on Friday, August 10. Thompson took the stage first and even shared the stage with Justin Moore a little bit. Our own Bruce in the Morning got the pleasure of introducing Justin Moore to the stage. Both performers played nice and loud, and could be heard throughout the fairgrounds. Check out the photos from the concert here.
The first weekend of the Missouri State Fair is here to celebrate Then & Wow! Today is Pepsi Day, where you can get $1 off adult admission and $5 off carnival ride wristband, which you’ll need a specially marked Diet Pepsi can to get the discount.
Drive it like you stole it! Not literally, but at the Nissan tent you are given the opportunity to test drive seven of the new 2013 vehicles. It’s nice to be able to drool over a new car and drive it without the annoying car salesman breathing down your neck!
I had the opportunity to go backstage to meet Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers at the Missouri State Fair. Everyone was great. Both bands took the time to talk to their fans during their meet and greets. Then I went on stage for some announcements and was able to upgrade some people from the grandstand to the track. Check out pics of the concert below.
Nashville recording artists The Roys kicked off the Bud Stage for the 2012 Missouri State Fair. They are a very fun band and they stopped by the studio today. The audio, including live music, is below.
The Missouri State Fair got off to a great start yesterday, and today more fun is planned to Celebrate Then and Wow! First off, it is MoDOT day, where you can enjoy all kinds of games and activities in the Highway Gardens.

The first day of the 110th Missouri State Fair began today with speeches and music from the Marshall Municipal Band in front of the Fire Station on the North Side of the Fairgrounds.
