The 2013 concert season is already shaping up to be a good one for Missouri. Between the reunion tours, hot new artists and everyone in between, it seems that more and more artists want to book a show in the the Show-Me State. Unfortunately for us here in Sedalia/Warrensburg, those shows don't often come right to our backyard like they do in St. Louis or Kansas City. That means road-tripping for shows.
UPDATE: Tickets to the Luke Bryan concert are SOLD OUT, but KIX Country Club winners can win them from us! Just click the button below for your chance to win!
Youth season was a success, with four out of the six kids we took out harvesting their first deer. We still have the second youth season to go, so I'm sure we'll get them back in the woods.
Last week we told you about Wounded Warrior Eric Stadler. We'll be taking him out hunting this morning just before seven more Wounded Warriors arrive in Sedalia for the first Wounded Warrior hunt in Pettis County.
There are certain traditions that are only associated with Thanksgiving. Football, a large family dinner and clipping ads to plan out your Black Friday Shopping. Be sure to head to downtown Sedalia on Thanksgiving evening for the Lighting of the Hotel Bothwell.
Black Friday is quickly becoming a holiday of it's own, with shoppers braving cold weather and huge crowds in order to save some cash on their Christmas shopping. We're compiling a list of businesses in Sedalia that will be participating in Black Friday. Add your favorite business in the comments so we can share the savings!
Sedalia loves a parade, and Saturday was the perfect day for it. Sedalia's 40/8 Voiture 333 organized the event and participation was great! Several veterans' and active military groups were represented. There was no shortage of community groups as well. All to honor those that have served our nation.
LoCash Cowboys will be returning to Sedalia for an acoustic "storytellers" concert on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Liberty Center in Sedalia. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
Here are the happenings for this weekend!
I was honored to take out one of our Wounded Warrior veterans to the range. Eric Statler is a quadriplegic who is paralyzed from the neck down. We took him to sight in his deer rifle at the Sedalia Rod and Gun Club.
