Cam is the next in a line of country singers going out on summer tours with pop stars — she'll join 22 of Sam Smith's tour dates.

Cam will open the North American leg of Smith's the Thrill of It All Tour, which kicks off on June 18 in Toronto and ends in Mexico City on July 27.

"I could not be more excited to go on the road with Sam," the Grammy-nominated country artist says. "He is one of the greatest singers of our generation. To be associated with his show — that voice, those songs, that heart — it's a tremendous compliment, and I can't wait to share my music with his audience every night."

"THATS RIGHT IM GOING ON TOUR WITH SAM SMITH," she writes on Instagram, further sharing her excitement with fans. "Little ol’ me is opening up for this icon at Madison Square Garden, Montreal, Mexico, Nashville. NO JOKE THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST SUMMER OF OUR LIVES."

This isn't the first time that the two have shared the stage together — Cam joined Smith in London earlier this year to perform the song they co-wrote together, "Palace."

Country's Kacey Musgraves has been doing shows with One Direction's Harry Styles, and Maren Morris has been overseas with the boy band's Niall Horan.
