TJ and John Osborne of Brothers Osborne paid tribute to the Orlando shooting victims with a heartfelt cover of Vince Gill's "Go Rest High on That Mountain."

The brothers performed Sunday evening (June 12) at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.

The crowd sang along with the Grammy-winning song released in August 1995. Gill released it as the sixth single from When Love Finds You, and it is extremely fitting for the tragic events that occurred in Florida. Gill wrote it following the death of Keith Whitley, and he finished it after his older brother passed away from a heart attack.

In addition to performing "Go Rest High on That Mountain," the brothers all released a statement on Twitter. "In honor of those in #Orlando, don't run. Don't hide. Don't fear. And never hate. Be 100% yourself in spite of the ass holes in this world," they wrote.

The "Stay a Little Longer" singers were not alone in their tribute to the fallen victims. Luke Bryan called for a moment of silence during his CMA Music Festival performance; Little Big Town dedicated "Miracle" to those in Florida; and Jason Isbell called for compassion and empathy in light of the shooting.
