The local chapter of the West Central Missouri Boys and Girls Club is getting a lot done with our local kids every day.  They're helping out right here in our area to help our kids become better people and grow up into adults our future needs.

The goals set forth by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Boys & Girls Club aspire to provide all young people with a safe place to learn and grow, and establish ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals by providing them with life enhancing programs and character development experiences.  They can't do that without help from you.

That's why we're telling you all about their huge fundraiser this Christmas, their team up with HoneyBaked Hams.  They're also gearing up for next year called An Evening of Heart and Hope.  They've had these events for nearly a quarter of a century, and this year's celebration promises more amazing fun. I got to talk with Matt LaCasse and Britt Barth Fagen about what we can expect this year and how you can get tickets, plus all about the big HoneyBaked Ham fundraiser.

Good luck to Brett Barth-Fagen, who is staying in Sedalia but telecommuting with the national Boys and Girls club, too. Get your order in before noon tomorrow for your ham, or make an order for Christmas before December 15.  Be sure to go to their website or stop by the building at 3100 Aaron Ave (near the Post Office), or you can call (660) 826-8331.

Educationally yours,
Behka
