Boys and Girls Club Raises More than $9,500 with Golf Tournament Over the Weekend

The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri held its annual Putting “Fore” The Kids golf tournament Saturday at Triple Creek Golf Course in Cole Camp, raising more than $9,500 for Club operations.

“Team Walt,” made up of Dave Barnum, Luke Heisterberg, Tom Russell and Jason Bright playing in memory of longtime Club supporter Walt Heisterberg, took first place in Flight A; while David Plains, Jeff Walsh, Rick Toliver and Brad Pistol took first place in Flight B.

“Putting ‘Fore’ The Kids was a great success and luckily the weather held out for us,” said Fundraising Director Meghan Jeffreys. “We are so thankful to the participants, volunteers and Triple Creek Golf Course staff who helped us put on a great tournament.”

Leon Stelling, Leonard Creek, Brian Case and Bob Lange took second place in Flight A. Garnetta Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, Greg Moellman and Steve Good took second place in Flight B. Closest to pin winners were Leonard Creek and Roger Miller.
