Authorities in Cooper County, MO arrested a 58-year old Boonville man on multiple felony charges this week, after initially responding to a medical incident at Brady Campgrounds.

A press release from the Cooper County Sheriff's Office indicates that medics were dispatched to Brady campgrounds near the Hwy 179 exit of I-70 on Tuesday (Feb 5) for a report of a 47-year old woman that was injured from a fall.

A deputy responded to assist medical personnel at the scene, but realized there was more to investigate. The deputy then requested assistance from several other deputies. Before the day was over the investigation produced a search warrant for the camper at the location.

As a result of the warrant, authorities seized narcotics, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and ammunition.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of 58-year old Robert Warren Roberts.

The Cooper County Prosecutor has charged Roberts with:

1st Degree Kidnapping
1st Degree Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy
1st Degree Domestic Assault
1st Degree Armed Criminal Action
Possession of Controlled Substance
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
Unlawful Use of a Weapon

Roberts has a bond of $250,000.00.
