When I was a kid, the libraries here in town were some of my favorite places to be.  I'd walk down Third Street and stop by both branches and spend hours reading magazines,  browsing books and listening to records.  I don't know if that's something kids do these days, but there are a lot of great things that are in store for the kids and the adults at the Boonslick Regional Library.

In fact, I had Linda Allcorn, the director of the Boonslick Regional Library, in the studio today to talk about just that.  They've got some great, free programs for little children, grade school kids, teens, and yes, even their parents and grandparents.  All the different branches in Sedalia, Boonville, Warsaw and Cole Camp keep busy, and the Bookmobile is a great service for people in other areas.  Here's some of the details of what the Library is getting up to!

So be sure to stop by the Boonslick Regional Library at 219 West Third street here in Sedalia, check out their website, or give them a call at (660) 827-7323.

Readingly yours,
Behka
