All proceeds from the run will go to benefit the Go Big or Go Home fund, formed in memory of Whitworth. Race organizers say that the purpose of the fund is to carry on Blaine's spirit of giving back to the community, supporting other small business owners, and helping those in need. Go Big or Go Home will accomplish these goals in a few different ways.

  • Assist and support individuals seeking to open a small business that benefits the individual and the community.
  • Assist and support people in need of a helping hand to get their life going in the right direction and become productive members of society.
  • Assist and support a variety of parks and recreation activities.

According to the race's website, the race welcomes runners, joggers and walkers alike to come together and celebrate Blaine's life and his passion for sports and exercise through a family fun run. After the run, an award ceremony and celebration will be at Bodies on Pine Street in Warrensburg.

Life is only what you make it, don't compromise who you are and what you want to do for anything or anyone, they are called goals and dreams for a reason. They are not easy to achieve but once you reach them its bittersweet
