You're looking for points, because you want prizes. I'm looking to interact with you so it's not just like I'm talking to myself for four hours every day. Well. You know what I mean. LET'S TALK ABOUT THE SURVEYS!Here's a little bit of a look back at what some of you had to say.  I have to stress that I can't always go and respond to each one, because that's, you know, a lot of answers.  But I can pick out a few that had enough similar responses or some that were funny or whatnot.

On Monday, I asked you guys about your fast food preferences.  I don't eat fast food often anymore (mostly because my window was broken in my car until just this past week and I've been too lazy to go in).  But, for a lot of Americans it's a necessity.  How often do you have fast food? What's your favorite fast food restaurant? What do you like best about it?

In the past about 4 years ago it was almost on a daily basis that I was eating fast food currently I have cut down to visiting a fast food to one time about every 2-3 weeks. Unless I am on the road traveling then have to stop and partake in it. I tend to lean toward Wendy's and occasionally Taco Bell or McDonald's.

My father has that too, where he has to have fast food because there's not much else on the highway. He's a truck driver so I can understand where you're coming from on that one.

I eat fast food about 2 times a month. My favorite fast food place is Jack in the Box!! Since we don't have Jack here in Sedalia, Wendy's and Taco Bell are tied. I love Wendy's chicken nuggets with honey, fries and a chocolate frosty-dipping the fries in, of course!

I know that kids are definitely picky sometimes, so whatever gets them to play the quiet game is sometimes best.

I have horrible eating habits during the week I eat out every day monday through friday for lunch

Wow! I'm not judging, that just means to me that you have a lot of throwin around money. I guess you could eat the value meal every day but I suspect you don't. Honorable mentions in some of your favorites are Dairy Queen for the ice cream, Freddy's Steakburgers for the military discount, Hardee's for the curly fries, and Subway for a healthier option.

On Tuesday, I was telling you guys about how I'm thinking that I need to do some renovations on my house. I also saw that there was a survey talking about home owners and renters, and how satisfied they were with their abodes. I asked: Are you happy in your current house or apartment? What would you change about the size, the layout, the look?

Currently reside in a tri-level house with a partial basement. It is just the 2 of us. In our 50's and now it seems like to look for a ranch with a basement and nice big yard preferably out of the city limits....

Oh yeah, definitely. If the family has moved out and you've got too much space, why not go for something smaller? I know I'd be happy with less rooms to clean.

No, Our house was originally intended for a couple, we have 2 kids.... But the location is amazing.

Ooooh, now that's a toughie. Do you give up the great space for a bigger place? I don't know, I think I'd have to default to more elbow room.

I would just remodel, I like my house the way it is

That's what I'm gonna do. Sometimes I want another bedroom, but for the most part it's pretty okay. I want to redo the bathroom and get those windows fixed, though. Then maybe next year we'll think about stripping the wallpaper and painting and all that jazz.

On Wednesday, I asked you guys about your bedroom habits. I mean SLEEPING, jeez. Boyfriendo was gone for about five days on a trip, and I found myself moving from my side of the bed to full starfish in like, two days.

loading...

Which side of the bed do you sleep on? Have you always used that side?

I sleep on the right side. It's closest to the door so if the kids are sick, I'm usually the one that gives them medicine, reassurement, etc. It also works with the pets too. The dog would sit and whine on that side too because he knows I'm the only one that would pick him up and put him on the bed.

That's definitely a Mom talking. You're the best, just so you know. There's nothing like finding Mom after a nightmare.

I'm am ambi-sleeper. I like to sleep furthest away from the door or up against the wall if possible. I currently sleep on the right side of the bed because in our bedroom that's furthest away from the door. At my boyfriend and I's previous house, I slept on the left side since that side was furthest away from the door. I've always slept this way, not sure why-just have.

I'd like to think I'm adaptable. I sleep the farthest away from the door because Boyfriendo has a tougher time walking than I do, and if he has less ground to cover, the better.

I sleep pretty much in the middle, because I can't choose a side.... Poor hubby

Maybe you just need COMFORT. There's nothing like that middle sweet spot.

I sleep ion the right side of the bed, because I sleep on my right side and I want to feel the open space in front of me.

That's something I hadn't thought of, because for me, I sometimes will fall OUT of the bed. It's a weird dream rolling thing I have. So I don't need to feel a huge open space, I'll just fall in it.

Thursday's topic was one that I know everyone on our radio stations has dealt with numerous times: work interrupting home life. It just comes with certain jobs, sometimes you have to drop everything and go because if you don't, other people might get hurt. I'm not talking about my normal every day goofing off, I mean our weather reporting for tornadoes or snow storms or cancellations or whatnot. I'm sure policemen and firefighters have it much, much worse. Do you mind when work contacts you on your time off? Does your family mind? Do you bring work home with you? Do you spend time working at home?

I'm in the tax business so I do sometimes take tax returns home when there is a deadline. I prefer not to be contacted by work on my time off because it is usually not something that can be easily answered. I have been contacted by work or a client and I have taken care of the situation.

I know what you mean, I'm writing this blog post from home right now. And I'm sure teachers have that same issue. They have to bring grading home all the time.

I spend time working on vehicles or working out and my wife hates it

I'm sure she'd like the time with you, that's all. But I bet it's nice when she needs a car worked on or if she can't open a jar.

I used to work where I carried a "pager phone" which is basically a call-in phone for staff and then I'd have to fill their shifts. I got calls at any hour, day or night. It was hard for me because you're "on call" but technically not working. My job now is very different and I don't work at home at all but I don't mind getting contacted at home. My boyfriend was very understanding when I carried the pager phone.

I know that people in the medical, police, fire fields... they have to be ready at a moment's notice. I can't imagine being able to really really relax knowing that at any second you'd have to jump up and get out.

Usually work calls me when they need coverage on a shift and I am not working. Which I work 3,12 hour shifts scheduled during a 7 night week. So that leaves me to schedule appointments or other required activities that can only be done during a Monday-Friday schedule. So I can't pick up any extra time. In my profession don't bring home my work.

Geez, that's already crazy demanding. No wonder you're so careful with your time. I don't blame you!

ANYWAY, that'll do it for us this week. But, I'll have a bunch of brand new ones next week, so come back and take some more surveys. Make sure you go back and take any of the other surveys you may have missed and you'll get points to win prizes!

Curiously yours,
Behka
