I've been reaching out to you guys and asking you a question every day, and you've been giving some great answers. We've talked about everything from cod liver oil to the story of your life to your sleeping habits, and you haven't been shy about your opinions! On Monday, I asked you guys about some the more unsavory punishments you may have gotten as a child when you were being unruly. When I was a kid, I tried not to get into trouble.  My sister was pretty rebellious, and she was a few years older than me – I saw it wasn’t doing much for her, so I didn’t make waves.I tried my best to behave, get good grades, and be helpful around the house.  But, I wasn’t perfect, of course.  And sometimes if I said something my Mom didn’t like, well, I got the soap.  She had to clean my mouth out!  Some of you said that your parents would make you eat liver and onions if you didn't behave, and some of you said that your grandparents gave you Cod Liver Oil if you were mouthy.

A lot 'cause I would not listen.  I always thought I knew more than the adults.....

Not that any kid has ever done that, right? Especially not as teenagers. So some of you had those, or maybe an extra large portion of broccoli with dinner.

Never forced to eating anything. My punishment was to tell my Dad when he got home from work what I had done. I hated that, I didn't want my Dad to ever think I was bad because I worshiped him and I knew it would make him sad but he would still love me.

Oh no, now THAT is a big one.  The thought of disappointing your folks is huge, that'll stick with you forever.

When I was a child, my mother would wash my mouth out with soap if I said a "bad word". I do not punish my children in this way because I did not like it when I was a child.

You got a point there. I don't think I'd do it just because I'd be worried about getting the kid sick from it. I think there must have been some magic thing in the old days of parenting where they just knew what would be alright.

On Tuesday, I asked you guys about your sleeping habits. I always have to have a little something from an old tv show playing in the background before I go to bed. So I asked you guys what little things you do or routines you have before you go to bed.

Always check to make sure the garage doors, bedroom and closet doors are closed. Also check to make sure the seat is down on the toilet, don't want to fall in during the middle of the night.

See, now I didn't even think of that! That's definitely using the ol' noggin there.

Before I go to bed I brush my teeth, and wash my face. I make sure closet doors are closed, and most importantly I try to make it as dark as possible.   If there is a little light on, I locate the source and try to put it out -rather, that means unplugging it or just covering it up.

I'm the same way! If there's a light on an alarm clock that's too bright, I'll try to cover that up too. When I have my show on in the background, I put something over the screen so it's not very light.

On Wednesday, I asked you about your favorite music. If you could get any band to reunite for one awesome concert, what would it be?  I was not surprised in any way by some of your phone in answers:  Queen, Lynyrd Skynrd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and a few others.  I was suprised by one call in answer.

I'd like to see the quartet that played on the deck of the Titanic as it sunk.

Okay, a little morbid, but as a big fan of history - I admit, I'd like to see it, too. Maybe from a distance, safely on a lifeboat, but still. It would be neat to see the selfless dedication those musicians had to try to keep those poor people as calm as possible.

Of course, The Beatles!!!!

Heck to the yes! I'm with you. I'd love to have gotten the chance to see them.

On Thursday, I asked you guys about your relationships and how you deal with conflict. I posed this question to you: What's the stupidest argument you've gotten into with someone?

Whether I fed the ducks, or my husband did.

This is a great example of one of those arguments! I guess it means, though, that you both fed the ducks? Those are some lucky ducks alright - well fed ones, anyway.

Whether or not the person you are into it with had an attitude in their voice that started the argument.

I have that problem sometimes! It's a thing I call "Insincere Voice Problem". Sometimes Boyfriendo will be telling me a story and I'll respond, and it sounds like I'm not interested or being sarcastic, but...sometimes I'm not! It's just a case of IVP.

So there you have it. Another week of great responses from you guys. Anyway. Join me again next week for our next round of Enquiring Minds, and weigh in with your opinions.  You can either fill out a survey, comment on a post, or comment on our Facebook.  But don't think you can't still take all our surveys if you missed one. Fill out any or all of our polls and surveys and you could get some more points for great prizes, like our Bud Light Ultimate Backyard BBQ Giveaway.

Curiously yours,
Behka
