The BMW Motorcycle Owners of America are holding their 40th International Rally this weekend, July 19 - 22, at the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds will be hosting an estimated 8500 bikers this weekend, so drive carefully and prepare to see A LOT of bikes around Sedalia throughout the weekend.

June 25, 2012 Tickets to concerts and events at the Missouri State Fair go on sale starting at noon today at the box office, located on the fairgrounds in Sedalia. Also available are $6 advanced gate admission tickets, and $20 Governor’s Ham Breakfast tickets, which include gate admission. Box office hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and during the Fair 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

June 11, 2012 You could hear those pro-mod engines roaring all the way out by the entrance of Lucas Oil Speedway last Sunday (June 10), as the drag boats took to the water for the 2012 John Haas Memorial Drag Boat Classic in Wheatland. I had never been to drag boat races before, and if you haven't experienced it, I highly recommend checking it out sometime.
