The thunderous sounds of rumbling motorcycles came rolling into Sedalia at the State Fair's Campgrounds for Labor Day Weekend. There was a lot of fun to be had at the Campgrounds. Today (Aug. 29), emergency personnel in Sedalia helped lay to rest one of their own. Kenny M. Stone passed away in the line of duty on Aug. 23, 2013. Kenny served our community as a paramedic. Historic Downtown Sedalia was the backdrop once again for the 2013 Sedalia Downtown Criterium Bike Race. The races started around 4 p.m. on Saturday (Aug. 24), starting with the first of five men's races.They also held two women's races and one junior race. The Final Men's Race started at 9 p.m.
