Bruce
You never know what you will get when you tune in to the Bruce in the Morning Show. I will make fun of just about anybody and anything. If it's on your brain, then we can talk about it, so I always invite you to be a part of the show.
A friend of mine posted on Facebook that she has a sexy single friend and tagged her friend in the post. Of course, that drew lots of comments about watching out for crazy guys and the things men will say but really don't mean.

In a conversation about presidents (past and present), a friend of mine and I were discussing which we would like to meet. Regardless of politics, I have always thought Bill Clinton seemed like he would be fun to talk to. Of course, both Bushes would be great at a dinner party as well. Which brings me to today's "Complete The Sentence."
Let me preface this with one simple fact: I am NOT a fashionable person. I wear jeans (usually black), polo shirts and casual shoes. I lack the ability to go into a store and say "I like the way that looks and want it." Judging by the fact that there was a reality show called "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy," I'm not alone. But I HAVE learned one or two things over the years.
We've all had friends say it to us: "It's the best movie ever, you HAVE to see it". And then, we finally break down and watch the movie only to find that there's 90 minutes of our life we won't ever get back. That happened to me just last night.
Not too long ago people celebrated "Star Wars Day." That caused me to remember my high school friend that had all of the action figures displayed in his bedroom and the logo appeared on a majority of his wardrobe. The thought occurred to me that everyone had a friend like that. Then I thought of my other friends and today's "Complete The Sentence" was born. Here ya go:
Obviously, your mother made sacrifices for you over the years. But what about the time she spent giving birth to you? We get paid for our labors in the workforce, should she not get paid for going through labor as well?
Our lifetimes consist of a series of "Remember where you were when" moments. For my parents, they could tell you exactly where they were and who they were with when President Kennedy was assassinated. For me, I can remember where I was when the attempt was made on Ronald Reagan's life. Of course, the tragedy of 9/11 sits at the forefront of this conversation. And for Sedalians, we near the 1 year anniversary of the tornado that struck town on May 25, 2011.
I see the phrase a lot online. Someone will say "it's about to get real" or "I want something real". The contexts vary
I'm on Facebook (facebook.com/bruceinthemorningshow) and Twitter (@bruceitmorning). A LOT! Some might say I'm addicted, but it's part of my job! That's the excuse I'm going with anyway.
