You never know what you will get when you tune in to the Bruce in the Morning Show. I will make fun of just about anybody and anything. If it's on your brain, then we can talk about it, so I always invite you to be a part of the show.
I was having a discussion with a friend of mine about Facebook. We came to the same conclusion: people share WAY too much on Facebook. A cute story about your kids or dog once in a while is interesting, but honestly, I'm pretty sure most people don't care what you have for dinner on a daily basis, every ache and pain that you feel or any of the other mundane things in your life. As a Facebook addict, I use this guideline: Would I call all of my friends to tell them this news? If the answer is no...well, it's not getting posted.
As a radio group, we try to do as much as we can to promote local charity events. There are a lot of golf tournaments throughout the season. Each one benefiting a non-profit organization. How do you get the word out and make yours stand out in the crowd?
It is no secret that I refuse to eat or drink after anybody. I don't take chances on getting a virus and losing my voice. By now, you've probably heard how gross your cell phone is: In one recent study done in Northern Ireland, almost ALL the cell phones they tested had bacteria growing on them. So did almost all the office phones they checked too.
To say that having a child is a huge event in someone's life is an understatement. Of course, people everywhere have something to say about the new baby, and it is hard to tell how someone will take your words of wisdom. Things like "He should be talking by now," or "When my baby was that age he was," can be bothersome. Some women stop talking to people altogether over something that was said about their baby.

Today's "Complete the Sentence" is inspired by some female friends of mine. Several of them are using online dating sites and receive many emails a day. When the subject comes up, they immediately talk about the bad ones.
I'm continuously meeting new people. If there is one thing everyone seems to have in common it is this: women know what they want from a man, but men say, "Women don't know what they want." My working theory on this is simple: men believe women don't know what they want because MEN don't know what women want from us. So, today's "Complete the Sentence" offers the ladies a chance to sound off!
Over the weekend, I found myself spending some lazy time in front of the TV. As I was flipping through my channels, I found that "The Cowboy Way" was on. Yes, I've seen the film multiple times. But still find myself gravitating toward it every time it shows up on my guide. I'm pretty sure we all have one movie that never seems to get old no matter how many times we watch it. Complete the Sentence:
I had the opportunity to head out to the Missouri State Fairgrounds for the 2012 Pettis County Relay for Life Friday night (June 8). This year, 26 teams participated in taking turns walking around a track for 12 hours to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Each team had a campsite that was decorated. They also used them for fundraising.
