August-like Temperatures Expected Today
Dave Clippert of the Sedalia-Pettis County Emergency Management Agency says today will be the hottest day (so far) of 2016.
According to Clippert, "Not to make light of the heat, too many people will be working in it today, but I think once you step outside this afternoon, I think you will be immediately “advised” that it’s hot out!"
The Heat Advisory goes into effect from 11 am to 9 pm tonight. This is so far going to be the hottest day in 2016. We don’t usually see that until August. Please be careful, make sure you stay hydrated, check on those that may be most vulnerable to heat stress. Below is some hot weather information.
