The first day of of Fall was September 22, just a few days ago. We've gone from temps last week in the upper 80's and heat indexes in the low 90's to over night lows in the lower 50's. When does that comfort factor make you switch the position on your thermostat to 'Heat'?

I think for most of us, the cooler daytime temperatures and overnight lows are welcome. We can finally open up the windows and smell and feel the fresh air coming in through the house.

For some though it doesn't take long to make the switch from AC to HEAT on the thermostats.

I think for many there are almost certain times in the Spring and Fall when we feel if we can just hold off a few more days, we'll be able to justify making the switch.

With Autumn, it's throwing on a sweater, light jacket, or a sweater, and we're good to go. Lay out the extra blanket on the end of the bed and we're fixed for the evening.

Not sure when that day will come when we make the switch but for now, we can can enjoy the first days of Autumn.
