The 2016 National Football League preseason schedule was released Thursday. The Chiefs will kickoff the preseason with a home game against the Seattle Seahawks, followed by a game on the road against the Los Angeles Rams. The Chiefs will then have another road date against the Chicago Bears before coming back to the friendly confines of Arrowhead to host the Green Bay Packers.

The dates for regular season games are still unknown, but the Chiefs do know that, in addition to the AFC West divisional teams, they will host home games against the Jaguars, Titans, Jets, Saints and Buccaneers and they'll be on the road against the Texans, Colts, Steelers, Falcons and Panthers.

In other Chiefs' news, according to an article in the Kansas City Star, the team has signed linebacker Andy Mulumba to a one-year deal.  Adding Mulumba to the roster adds depth at the outside linebacker position.  The former Green Bay Packer LB is listed at 6 feet 3 and 260 pounds. In 2014 he tore his his ACL and was in limited action in 2015 with four tackles in six games.  In 2013, Mulumba has his most productive season with 30 tackles and a sack in 14 games.
