Tickets for BGC’s ‘An Evening of Heart and Hope’ Auction are On Sale Now [INTERVIEW]
An Evening of Heart & Hope, presented by W-K Chevrolet is the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri’s annual auction event which raises money to help support the youth of West Central Missouri.
Their mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as caring and productive citizens. The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is a rural authority on positive youth development providing after school, before school, school break and summer programming to youth ages 6-18. They believe that every child has the ability and potential to be great. Every day their staff of trained professionals work to make a positive impact in every child´s life. They strive to give each child a real sense of hope and opportunity. It’s all work to bring out the best in every child by carrying out a mission with care. They offer a programming schedule that allows members to participate in the programs that they choose. The Club is a safe place for kids to play and interact with their peers, to learn more about themselves and to be under the supervision of trained and caring Youth Development Professionals. All of that is made possible by some of their great fundraisers that they have throughout the year, including the Evening of Heart and Hope.
Last year, they had record-breaking success at the annual auction. With fantastic attendance and a phenomenal line-up of items, they raised over $163,000 in support of the life-enriching programs we offer to nearly 1,500 youth throughout west central Missouri. As families continue to struggle under economic strains, the need for the programs and services is at an all-time high. Your generosity has been and will continue to be one of the keys to our success.
I got to talk with Matt LaCasse, with the Boys and Girls Club, about how you can get your tickets and about how you and your friends and co-workers can help out.
