After Work Sip and Shop Event Chomps Fun This Friday [INTERVIEW]

There are a lot of things going on this weekend, and most of them are for the kids.  The kids are very important, I agree.  And sometimes, don't you need a little stress relief?  A little something just for you?  Then make sure you get your shiny little self down to the VFW this Friday for our After Work Sip and Shop event.  

Get those planners marked off for the first annual After Work Sip and Shop, presented by the tasty treats of 4K Cheese and Wildlife Ridge Winery. On Friday, Sept. 27, join us at the VFW in downtown Sedalia from 3-8 p.m. for wine tasting, food sampling and booth shopping.

Admission is $3, or $2 if you bring in items to be donated to CASA. The fine folks of CASA are mainly looking for home items. Just think of things you'd want if you were suddenly asked to leave the comfy confines of your home for a week.  Donation items that will be taken include: non-perishable food, toiletries, paper towels, feminine products, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, linens, clothing, household items, children’s clothing, toys, books, diapers, formula, baby wipes and more.

With your admission, you get wine tastings, booth shopping, food samples and chances to win prizes.  Everybody loves prizes, I know that much.  I got to talk with the main organizer of the event, Leslee, to find out more details about what we'll be doing out there on Friday.

I like wine, I love cheese.  That's what's what, and I want all of the cheeses. And the wine.  Don't worry about that.
