Accident on US 50 Injures Sedalia Man

A Sedalia man suffered minor injuries in an accident on US 50 at South Kentucky Avenue in Pettis County on Thursday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 55-year-old Alan Caniba of Otterville, failed to stop at a traffic light and struck a 2013 Dodge Charger, driven by 45-year-old Adam Hendricks of Sedalia.

Hendricks was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. The Charger was moderately damaged, while the Jeep sustained minor damage in the accident. No injuries were reported for Caniba.
