Three people were taken to the hospital following an accident on MO 13 near Highway H in Johnson County around 5:50 p.m. on April 10.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2015 Toyota Camry was stopped in the northbound lane of the intersection when it was struck from behind by a 1998 Ford Escort. The Camry was pushed into the other lane, into the path of a 2012 Honda Civic, which swerved and left the roadway to avoid collision. All three vehicles were extensively damaged and were towed from the scene.

23-year-old Luke A. Huskey of Marshall, 52-year-old Teresa M. Cannon of Warrensburg, and 24-year-old Devorius A. Harris of Knob Noster all suffered moderate injuries in the accident. Huskey was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment. Cannon and Harris were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center.
