Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town were country music's chosen performers at the 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday night (Feb. 15). Many from this same group took home Grammy statuettes. The best moment for country fans came early in the show, although there were some late surprises that made staying up worth it.

Stapleton's performance during the B.B. King tribute anchored the cover of "The Thrill Is Gone," while Bryan joined a group of all stars to pay homage to Lionel Richie. Underwood and Hunt teamed up for a superstar mashup, and Little Big Town put a new twist on "Girl Crush." Not all of these performances made our list of the Top 5 Grammy Moments, mostly because we had to include the wins and the outfits.

Adele's microphone issues and Taylor Swift's emotional acceptance speech are what fans nationwide are talking about the next day. Swift took aim at Kanye West while standing up for young women everywhere, and Adele overcame technical issues to get through her performance of "All I Ask." Other non-country highlights included performances from Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Alabama Shakes and Swift. Taste of Country's list only features highlights from the country music moments from the Grammys.
