25-Year-Old Knob Noster Man Killed in Car Accident on Tuesday Morning

There was a one-vehicle accident reported in Johnson County, Tuesday morning, around 7, that ended with one fatality.

According to an accident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Missouri Highway 23 at Route E. The 2003 Acura ran off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment and overturned. The driver, 25-year-old Richard N. Gallagher, of Warrensburg, was transported by Air EMS to Research Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

The passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Tyler M. Lockhart, of Knob Noster, was killed in the accident. He was transported to Sweeny, Phillips, and Holdren Funeral Home, in Warrensburg, by the Johnson County Coroner.
